Requirements
The duration of it starts at 1 year and is up to 3 years. Also, Fees vary by free zone but typically include :
- Permit: AED 7,500–15,000
- Establishment card: ~AED 2,000
- Visa: AED 2,750–5,000
- Additional costs for medical tests and Emirates ID: AED 4,000–6,000+
- Passport & Residency Documents
- Valid health insurance covering your stay in Dubai/UAE.
- Undergo a medical fitness test at an approved UAE health center.
- Different free zones may have slightly different rules.

- Submit Freelance Permit Application online
- Pay the Fees (Application, Issuance, Medical exam)
- Undergo Medical Exam & Biometrics
- Once approved, the free zone issues a freelance permit / license.
- Visa Approval & Stamping
- You receive Emirates ID (your official resident ID in UAE)
